Spay and Stay
Care Animal Hospital participates in the Trap Neuter Return Program (TNR) with Spay and Stay. Every cat that goes through the TNR program receives the following services:
- sterilization
- vaccinations: rabies and distemper
- microchipping
- eartipping
- treatment for internal and external parasites
This humane population control method has proven to be extremely successful and we enjoy volunteering our time for this much needed cause. Instead of hosting monthly spay clinics, we are now working with Spay and Stay to spay and neuter throughout the week as needed. A selection of the pets on our website will be present at the event. It is the perfect place to come, meet the dogs, explore volunteer opportunities and make a difference in a homeless dog's life. If there is a specific dog you would like to meet, please fill out an adoption application found on the "Adoption Form" tab and let us know you will be there. We will arrange for the dog to meet you.
This is a community service event offered by Petco and Castaway Pet Rescue to bring awareness to rescue, foster & adoption of animals from overcrowded shelters throughout the Midwest.
