Laboratory

We staff a full-service in-house laboratory to ensure immediate diagnostic capabilities for your pet when the need arises. If special laboratory testing is required, our outside reference lab can provide rapid results- oftentimes the same day.

Imaging

Care Animal Hospital of Libertyville also has a full-service imaging suite with radiology and ultrasound for your pets imaging needs. Whether your pet suffered an orthopedic injury or has internal problems our staff can obtain the proper images to rapidly diagnose and efficiently treat your pet.

Pharmacy

We stock most medications in our on-site pharmacy that your pet may require, saving you a trip to the pharmacy. We strive to provide only the most current and safe medications and supplements that your pets’ therapeutic regimen may require.

Surgery

Whether your pet needs a routine spay or neuter, bone or joint surgery or a major exploratory surgery, the skilled doctors at Care Animal Hospital of Libertyville are trained to provide these services. Dentistry

Our four-legged companions require dental care in the same way we do, that’s why we provide comprehensive in-house dental services from counseling to cleaning and complex dental surgeries. Your pet should have a dental cleaning at least once annually- sometimes more frequently when the need arises- to control halitosis (“doggy breath”), gingivitis and tooth decay. This procedure provides the same professional cleaning, scaling and polishing that we would have done at our dentist’s office to reduce our risk of oral disease. Boarding

We provide a fully indoor and climate controlled boarding facility for your dog or cat 7-days per week, 365 days per year. Reservations are required as space is limited. Priority is given to current Care Animal Hospital of Libertyville clients and their pets. Holiday’s can fill up rapidly. Make sure you call and schedule your reservation well in advance especially for spring break, Independence day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Please review our boarding agreement and wellness requirements for each pet admitted to the boarding facility prior to bringing your pet for a stay to speed up your drop-off time.
